Warrandyte

The town of Warrandyte is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The town was founded in 1853 and was originally known as Warrandyte Junction. The town was renamed in 1892 in honour of Sir Henry Warrandyte, the first Premier of Victoria. The town is home to a number of businesses and industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, and tourism. The Warrandyte Ranges are located to the east of the town, and the town is also home to the Warrandyte Wildlife Park.
