Empire Dojo has been a wonderful environment for my children to learn martial arts. Classes are fun and engaging with games and structured instruction. Instructors are very attentive to each child as an individual and are partners with parents in helping kids to develop a sense of discipline and responsibility.
As a parent whose child attended classes here, I am sharing our experience to help prospective families evaluate this program. When enrolling, take time to carefully read the entire membership agreement before signing. The contract places extensive emphasis on strict cancellation penalties, ongoing payment obligations, and broad liability waivers, but it does not include formal written safety protocols or a staff code of conduct for working with students. In any youth athletic environment, having clear, documented guidelines in writing is an important baseline for parents.
Empire Dojo is awesome! They have completely helped my kids become more confident, strong, independent, etc. I cannot recommend this school more. I can’t wait to see how my girls grow and Empire Dojo is a big reason for that.
